I don't know if it's any good to ask but does anyone know any kind of store in the USA that sells clothes similar to Nodame's attire from Nodame Cantabile? I've looked online and the kind of clothes she wears are from shops in Japan and I don't think I have enough time or the money to purchase those clothes (plus I don't think the sizes are the same in Japan as they are here... or so I've heard) so if anybody has any ideas, please let me know.

Try etsy.com, they carry a lot of odd clothing items. ^^ Oh, and when looking for cosplay items, don't search the term "cosplay" unless you are looking for a certain item. (such as Sailor Moon's rod or something) More cases then not you will just get sites selling cheap cosplay. Find out what the character wears and search for the item specifically. That way you will get non-cosplay sites as well as cosplay ones. It open more windows to finding things. ^^

Man, I think I ordered from one of those sites 🙁 But anyways, thanks! It's really hard though because she kind of wears normal clothing, but it's a specific style... well, anyways, I'll try that website. Once again, arigato!

Ebay or used clothing stores. You can find a lot it just takes a little more work.
