I would like to suggest an improvement to search functionality as it currently lacks(or so it may look) pretty much expected ability to expand results of a search by title with including category/tag criteria as well.
I was suggested to try an 'Advanced Search' but if you can't use a name in a search it makes it's use very limited (at first I was under impression that 'Advanced Search' is a sub-dialogue to clarify standard search' options but it didn't seem to be the case).

For me, when searching by a title or fragment of a title I would like to have filtered-out/included some genres(ideally, categories and tags as well). Lets say we are searching for a word 'sex' - we are pretty much are in for a barrage of 'Adult, Hentai' titles. If something doesn't have this genres set you will have trouble locating it amongst all the noise. Hope you get the idea.

3 ways of going about it is:

  1. Improve further the 'Advanced Search' - to include 'Title' field as well(that would probably easiest to do)
  2. Add filter options on the 'manga search' results page - to have an ability to change what genres/categories/(tags) will be shown and/or...
  3. Add semi-permanent search options for each user's search request(similar to 'release filtering' in User CP)

I really like the suggestions. (Sorry for not contributing to the post but the feature mentioned would be really helpful and cut down search time)

Thanks for voicing your support.
I've started to think that I'm the only one who finds it strange.
