Okay, this is getting on my nerves.
Kyo's all "OMFG I KILLED KYOKO. I DIDNT WANNA HOLD HER BACK BECAUSE I'D TURN INTO A CAT ZOMGZOMGZOMG."
Did he ever consider... you know... telling her she was about to be hit by a car?
All this shit could have been avoided and there wouldn't have been this series to begin with.

I thought that his not saving her was somewhat justified by his fear of the curse, because in the Sohma family, not everyone embraced it.
Though Hiro's mom may be an exception... 😕

It was by the fear of the curse... that is, if he had held her back and triggered the curse.
He didn't even warn her verbally.

🤣 of course kyo's a silly/stupid cat. Yuki pointed that out at the very beginning. but i TOTALLY get what your saying. why couldn't he just open his "stupid cat" mouth and say 'kyoko, look out'

And btw, this is kinda random, but didn't it say near the beginning of the manga that kyoko's car crashed into a wall? what happened to that?

Well, you know. He could be surprised with what was happening. He's just a 15-year old kid that time... it's kinda overwhelming to see something like that about to happen before your eyes, plus add the whole curse thing. He was confused. And it was an accident.

That's true and all, but it still seems specious. xD He could have just grabbed her by the scruff of the neck. That seems way more natural to me than hugging someone in a crowded street.
I suppose he could just have not wanted to touch women at all.

OMG... Now that I really think about it... Kyoko's death was first shown as her car crashing into a wall!! 😃
Not to mention it was then changed into a head-on crash with that chick's dad wasn't it?
