in ep 111 he goes into shimigami form and saves Kon from a hallow (mayb that was just in the anime)

true enough that she could or couldn't have been normal. but i don't think marring Isshin would be strong enough reasoning to doubt whether she is or isn't. it's likely it could've been the other way around and he feel in love with her or something. the Shinigami in the series have all shown to be quirky and various in their nature to their lives as well as their duty. so theres a good amount of possibilities why they were married be it normal or special in some way. as for her death also i think that in itself is another debatable manner considering the reason why it happened was cause Ichigo was lured in by Grand Fisher first. his mother followed after him, be it for reasons of worry that he might slip and drown or maybe she could see Hollows. but i think the higher probability for the former reasoning though. until the reasons for Isshin being in the human world to begin with is more or less the determining factor on whether she's got some supernatural senses of sorts. until then it's more likely she's normal.

Here's my theory
they are gonna skip like 40 years later into the gaiden chapters where ichigos dad will be an accomplished captain at the time also royaltie has a relationship with a low class citizen "Ichigos mom". Ichigos mom may have the hougyaku (is that how it's spelled) in her cause Urahara hid it in her( all theory prediction). Ichigos dad saves her from an attack from Aizen, but his relationship is found out by the court. So urahara (maybe) recently develops the mind replacment device meant to be used on humans who get attacked by hallows. To erase everyones memory of Ichigos dad and his girlfriend and they hide in the human world, to avoid his huge reiatsu to be detected by anybody. In the human world they meet Ishidas father who uses his special quincy bow to permently seal ichigos dads reiatsu( assuming since he was able to bring out uryu's power from within he maybe also be able to seal it). The two adults start to develop actual feelings for each other and get married and have three children: Ichigo, Karin, Yuzu.

This is just all theory, but it is possible isn't it.

i doubt any of this would happen or even be possible since at the end of -98 kind of made sure of it so to say. the way the Gaiden is working the time line seems a whole lot closer to the current one at the moment. i also have doubts about Isshin even popping up at all in this part of the story either considering the current path. the way i see it's only going to cover Urahara's rise and downfall so to say. Isshin's part in the story is possibly something that might be saved for another time possibly like the start of a brand new arc. well thats depending on how his story is handled and how the current one ends.

But whatever everyone says, the reason most of us continue reading Bleach is Ichigo. Yeah sure, everyone has their 'fave' character and some readers want some sorta lovey-dovey shojo orgy like RukiaXIchigoXOrihimeXKon or whatever..... but at the end of the day, we all wanna see how bad-ass Ichigo will turn out with all his untapped power et all.

Speaking of that when do you thuink the gaiden will end and go back to ichigo and everyone. Will it end on mid number
chapter-90 or end at -1

i agree everyone wants something special to explain Ichigo's power and potential, but honestly some thoughts on Isshin seem to be overstretching it too me. Isshin has potential to be a more interesting character than he already is. but right now there doesn't seem to be anything special about him so far, aside from being at least captain class when you think about it. he's only been seen killing a newly formed Arrancar Grand Fisher, even though he did it easily, that alone really can't determine much.

well the gaiden ended and damn you hiatus...and they might go into another gaiden or something later about his dad's life cause in this gaiden they just told us about what really happened to urahara and how the visards became like that and who they really were

Maybe Ichigo's dad is the son of the king of the Soul Society and he fell in love with Ichigo's mom, then he left the Soul Society in secret and didn't return. That would make Ichigo like... Jesus.

I really have no idea what I'm talking about, I was just trying to come up with some original ideas.

Personally, I think that Ichigo's dad was part of the Shiba clan. That is the only thing that would explain Kaien looking so much like Ichigo. It would be put a few funny moments in if Ganju and Ichigo find out they are cousins or something too. XD
