Hey if that is what you dig then more power to you. I'm a heavy drinker (when i have the sauce on me) and i drink for very complex reasons (border line alcoholic).
Most male heavy drinkers (at least where i'm from) like beer. I'm one of them.

Btw what do you associate various drinks with (like who do you usually expect to find drinkin X drink)?
Like i associate vodka (more specifically mixed drinks) as a feminine drink and scotch as a masculine drink. And hennesey as a ghetto drink. 😀 [/quote]

I have a friend that when you go to a party at his place you have to drink a shot before you walk in the door. You can not look for too long or smell the shot. The shots are usually of vodka, tequila, Goldschlager or white rum, but there is always one of everclear. I was unlucky once and got the everclear one and I felt the burn from my throat to my stomach; it hurt. How can anybody enjoy drinking that is beyond me...? But ice water, milk and a beer later and I could talk again; my throat still hurt for at least a couple of hours after. Everclear was nasty stuff... do not recommend. 🤢

I am reviving this thread because my hero, drunkguy, is online.
