I was wondering, if anyone knows whether there will be an anime adaptation 2nd season of this. I heard that there would be but in a page I recently visited for the spring lineup I didnt find it. Any info or link greatly appreciated...

It won't be spring season, but it was announced almost a full year ago in the Japanese Newtype. They haven't yet announced when it will be released, about all they've said is that it exists and probably won't be titled The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (based on the promotional stuff they've been doing, it'll probably be The Vanishment instead, which was the best novel anyway...).

Probably summer or fall season, if it doesn't get delayed.

My bet would be Fall. The big shows tend to come out in Spring and Fall, since more people tend to watch then for some reason.

I'm excited as shit for season 2. First time I saw haruhi I was like WTF this is seriously f'ed up and didn't likeit, but after several retries it's one of my fav anime.

looking forward to the second season, but i wanna finish the novel first so that i understand the preview that's out for the 2nd season(ive heard it only makes sense if you've read the novels)
