So, is anyone on the forums a fan of this guy? I AM A HUUUUGEEEE FAN!!!! He's an AWESOME writer with one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen. And for those of you who don't know who he is, he is the writer of the comics "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac", "Squee!!", and "I feel Sick". He's also the creator of the animated series "Invader Zim" and the director of the video for "Shut Me Up", a song by the band Mindless Self Indulgence.

His stuff is awesome, I always have a good laugh. Own copies of most of it.

personally like his comics and their art(filler bunny!), never got into invader zim.

just wondering, why did yall see him as an ass? can't really say he was emo/goth either, he may wear alot of black but he lampoons them senseless.

Haha, I was about to say that I got more of an Angry Goth vibe than an Angry Emo vibe. But I get that is all apart of his image.

Liking Jhonen Vasquez is a phase almost all comic readers go through, believe it or not. Many people will tell you, around 13/14 they discovered JTHM and thought it was so intellectually deep and had excellent humour. Myself and a friend have joked many times about how we use to think he was the bee's knees.
He's still an asshole, and despite the hatred he shows for his fans, he actually loves that attention.
My opinion now, well, his stuff is occasionally good for a laugh (though the random humour is offputting), especially I Feel Sick, but I wouldn't take any of it seriously.

Never heard of him 😐 Watched Invader Zim before, but never heard of the dude.
