I remember reading a manga... or starting it... about a commander in a special force who looks like a kid. He is sent on a mission to protect a student in an all-girls school [I think] and all the girls fawn over him because they think he's ten years old, but he's really in his 30's. There was a bad guy[girl] that is just as good if not better than him and she looks just as young...

Unfortunately that's not it... It was a military modern setting not Fantasy. They used guns and camo. Though the special girl he was guarding had a special power or something... It was a long time ago when I read it and it wasn't completed so I'm kind of hoping it's completed now.
