Fei wong Reed, anyone think of that after reading the last tsubasa?

Actaully I think Fei Wong said Watanuki and Clow look alike.
Anywayz I think that Watanuki simply has the same soul and is not clow - he has yet to develop any magic powers. Not to mention to be called the strongest in the world 🙂
Of course everything is possible in manga.

well i think its pretty obvious by now he's supposed to resemble clow. and the magic thing is growing too

I don't think that Watanuki is anybody else but himself 😀 But maybe the authors make us think so on purpose.

he maybe the son of syaoran but right now he is no body's son. that is the huge price he paid. his existance right now are something that not even possible... you should read more.

He's not the SON of Syaoran. He is/was PART of Syaoran.

tsubasa(boy) is the son of syaoran and sakura.. when the tsubasa(girl) problem thingy arise, tsubasa(boy) made a wish to turn back time. as the price his real life is erased in his world.. to fill the void watanuki was born as the son of syaoran and sakura... (both watanuki and tsubasa(boy) is the same but different at the same time). watanuki is something that was not "meant to exist" (his existance is something that is not possible)

ps: even watanuki's name is not his real name right now.. it's a made up name to protect his existences from fei wong.. and my best bet his real name is alo tsubasa (just like the name of his otherself). so basically he is an existences that is not possible who doesn't has his own real name.. which made it even more not possible

i might be wrong but i distinctly reading in either xxxholic or in tsubasa chronicles that watanuki is meant to be that world's syaoran but because of who he is, his appearance was changed so that he would remain hidden until 'that' time when he is needed.

but yeah i agree with the others that he is not fei wong, and most likely not clow reed. but u kno i cant be sure but i remember readin somewhere that the world outside the shop is not real but was merely created so that watanuki would have a point of reference to add to the realism that is his memories and existence. how that works i have no clue but i think thats why it was said that maru and moro have to sleep and stay in the shop because they are what kept the shop anchored to the fabricated world so that it wouldnt disappear but i could be wrong in my recollection 😛

your description is a bit twisted but i believe you're looking for ch 167-168 of xxxholic
tsubasa(boy) and watanuki are from the same world... same parent... same status as their first child.
but his apperance never change from the begining. fei wong already know what watanuki look like (trc 201).. to protect themselves from fei wong, tsubasa(boy) used his father name "syaoran" while their parent change their second first-child name into watanuki
that which was one become two.. they're the same but different at the same time.

i'm not sure about the world specially made for him part, but i'm agree with the memories and existences part. what suppose to happen is that after the TRC time loop ended watanuki should be gone (disappear) and tsubasa(boy) will continue to live his own life back.. but all of them wish watanuki to remain and live his own life (that's what the whole "don't disappear" lines truly mean). so in the beginning watanuki had already sacrifice his memories (his old life, the same life that tsubasa(boy)'s had) and start living his own life, making his own memories, making his own existence.

i will stand my ground that he will become clow reed..
which sadly mean that even after the trc's time loop ended... in xxxholic we will see watanuki turning back time (creating fei wong in the process as his otherself). and this time loop will be end when doumeki seal fei wong in that egg (the whole "don't hesitate to use it" part truly mean... well, he will end up using his sealing-weapon-ring and egg to seal watanuki2.0 here). so there will be no fei wong reed in the future ("cardcaptor sakura" world)

It just rings to me that watanuki is either:
= Clow - in the training; since recent arcs showed us on how he will developed his magical skills later on. Maybe Doumeki's arching ability got a connection with Yukito/Yue's ability. & like others said : his new "assigned" spectacles, his bigger robes, his previous encounter with Sakura's cardcaptor bird-like wand & Yuuko's past experiences with Clow might contributes to their time loop/etc.

or
= Eriol - & now, he had grown older & he didn't have a clue while he was at that age.. his memories may had vanished etc, who knows.. 😛
