Some entries seem to have very little information.

For example Cinderella Husband has N/A for Description, Image, Genre,
Categories and Artist.

I would like to suggest an Enhancement Needed list which would list those entries
where various conditions are met,

i.e. four of the following fields being N/A, Description, Image, Genre, Categories,
Artist, Author

or where the Genre includes Doujinshi but there is no Adapted From entry in the
Related Series field

Search on Touhou and you get roughly 300 Doujinshi Entries

It's not a bad idea but I don't think it would bring much of improvement. Series that don't have informations are usually obscure ones. Nobody scanlates them, nobody publishes them. I don't see many people wanting to read them. However, I do think that scanlated manga needs to have a description ,at least, so groups releasing them would be obliged to add them with their release.

why dont let user make up their own querys, like when u do a search in google mail

"in:inbox OR -in:trash AND is:stared"

so would be like

"description!=null AND rating>9 AND volumes>3 AND my_list=null AND genre IN ('shoujo','comedy' ) " or somthing like that

instead of asking admins to doit for them all the posible combinations of querys that MU users migth want.........

That sounds good. More sophisticated search engine can't possible hurt you. Personally, I would like to be able to exclude oneshots from results more effectively (although, that volumes>X of yours would do the trick, as well).

In my spare time - I have no life - so I often search through and see if I can add anything to the database.

I'm wondering if we could perhaps have a search or a script or something to search for series that have lack or authors or something.

Personally I add the author to most of the series as normally if you like one of their work you will probably like another.

Having a "Enhancement Needed List" could help organise the whole site (for I will try to add more info) and because I like hunting down rare/weird manga.
