My most fav genre is angsty who can make my heart go ache and my eyes cry a river. I love manga with pure angst like Sora o Daite Oyasumi.
So I wanna ask: "What is the angty-est BL/yaoi manga?"

Hanamura Ichika writes good angst manga, even if you have to squint once or twice at the pacing of her stories. Kimi wa Amai Amai... is an instance of what I mean (chapter 4/5 is particularly angst-y and the best one of the book).
If you like incest (half-brothers), you could also try Kimi no Iru Sekai Shikairanai by the same author and Nanadome no Gomenne by Kojima Lalako
Zion no Koeda and Giglio by Inariya Fusanosuke are also marvellous.
How great is Sora o Daite Oyasumi though? Perhaps Kyuugou's Escape also applies, and I'm sure Bokura wa Sore o Hitei Dekinai will as soon as we get more of it :3
EDIT: I remembered something like Aitsu to Ore but I've read it way, way back so I'm not entirely sure.
It's the Art of Time, it's the Art of Life--
Of the player and the craftsman,
Of the writer of songs, of the creator of love,
Of those who will follow, of those who led,
There's no other way in the world ahead ♥

Personally, the most angsty manga that I have read is Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru. It is really beautiful and heart-touching. I still cry while reading it, although I have read it for about 3 or 4 times already.
I love Mahoroba no Hibi and Kimi no Kanaderu Hikari are quite alike, I guess. Both are twoshots and really, really sad.
Try Boku wa Sakana too! This type of manga is kinda rare, but really, really beautiful and heat-warming.
Hana no Miyako de is quite sad too. I feel bad for both of them.
Chou ni Naru Hi is kinda heart-warming too, although the uke looks like a female.
I'd suggest Gorgeous Carat - Kurayami no Bitoku, it is really good. I was actually looking for more angst manga like this and that's how I came across your post 😀
Also Cantarella by the same author, though it gets really REALLY frustrating towards the end. Just giving you a heads up.
I'm just gonna go ahead and list out the angst manga I've read so far and found them good in terms of story line.
A Night of a Thousand Dreams, this is amazing manga regardless of what you're looking for. The main story is simply addicting and you just wanna know what happens next. The mystery behind each character, or how the relationships will turn out to be. The stories within the story are just touching. Really great stories that just leave your heart pounding. Read it, you won't regret it~
Count Cain and its sequel God Child, they are both awesome. First series have an episodic feeling to it and less progress regarding the overall process. However, it gets a lot LOT better on the second series. Specially towards the end of it you'll be like what?! How could this be happening?! Awesome series regardless.
Let Dai, Uhmm yeah, I don't wanna start talking about this one cause I'm bona start crying. It is so good. Read it!
There's a whole bunch of other ones too. I can look them all later on 🙂
PS. These are all shounen ai. Cause I just went through my shounen ai list for now.
