So some of you here are professional adults with secure well paying jobs who do this silly thing to pass the time and meet random people on irc, others are perhaps students running the risk of failing your studies since you've found yourself in this weaboo scanlation lark and it's taking more of your time than you realised, if you're interested in becoming the former but have never found the motivation forthcoming give this one a try.

Dragon Zakura (DZ) is on the surface another teaching manga in a similar vein to Gokusen, GTO, etc., etc. An atypical teacher attempting to revolutionise a school. Where it differs starkly is in its focus on hard realities instead of fantastical adventures and compassion: It follows the trials and tribulations of a lawyer attempting to reform the prospects of an almost bankrupt school by teaching students how to enter an elite university and highlights some of the skills and mindsets needed to actually achieve it.

Contains: Studying, teachers who actually care about getting students to learn real things, more studying, dealing with the horrible crap that life throws at you and getting through it alive and snarling, even more studying, the hard vicious realities that allow the ignorant to be exploited by the cynical and conniving in society, did I mention studying, realising that there is more to life than just studying and finally studying to the point where your ears bleed and your wrists ache.
