How does Lilium fit Elfin Lie? Granted, the tone fits in a way, but it's a latin recitation of a bible verse. The lyrics have nothing to do with anything that goes on in the anime.

Love Ghost in the Shell OST. Yoko Kanno and Ilaria Graziano are amazing songwriters and singers. I love listening to "Where does the Ocean Go".

Anyone heard the Darkstalkers/Night Warriors OVA music? It's amazing. But you can expect no less from Ootani Kou 😀
My favorite tracks are Murder Pentagram, Night Battle Party, Endless Battle Game and Invitation To the Charm of Darkness.

GunGrave, Zetsuai/Bronze and Macross Plus have great soundtracks as well.
