No, in plain old porn everyone's on the pill. Or they just don't get pregnant. In my school they def explained proper contraceptive usage.

see i attended catholic private school lol i guess i neglected to mention that or put that into consideration. o.0
so hmm...i kno high school for a fact didn't teach me a dam thing i needed for the real world...exept how to juggle girls...that comes in handy lol

School hardly teaches you anything these days. Would have been nice if somewhere in school they had taught you what awaits you in the so called "real world". Went through the motions of 12 years of school and 4 years of college without realy learning anything useful and we all end up doing something we do not care about to make ends meet.
Figure out what you want to do with yourself early, because no one at school is going to tell you.

Cooking? No Home Ec in my HS, oddly enough. Not sure about other schools but I sure as hell dont want to eat ramen and fast food all the time. Would have thought that cooking would be important for life after school and more school. Its practical too...

I would say about 99% of everything I learned in school can be effectivly dumped out of my mind. The 1% left is some of the math skills I use in my job in doing calculations XD. But they should really make more of practical skills for classes rather than you basic math, science, social studies, and even some english (to a point).
If it makes sense, your probably wrong.

I think high school is really only around to give kids more idea on what they wish to do.

i think this applys to alot of people. for me i can't remember much from school. so far the hypotheses therum has been a crap load of help IRL. they need to teach stuff that will benifit you after you leave school.
