How to use a condom...o.O

There's no Sex Ed? xD

Well... Sex Ed do teach to "use" a condom, but not "how to use" em... rofl. I mean who reads the manuals on anything? xD

They also don't tell you where the G-spot is. Or what to do when your girl pulls out a whip.

I would say about 99% of everything I learned in school can be effectivly dumped out of my mind. The 1% left is some of the math skills I use in my job in doing calculations XD. But they should really make more of practical skills for classes rather than you basic math, science, social studies, and even some english (to a point).

I think high school is really only around to give kids more idea on what they wish to do.

I would not say that at all. High school did not help me with what I watned to do with myself. It was just a continuation of the school system pushing you through teaching you random things that most people have already forgotten. All it was good for was the social aspect of making friends.

Best thing i learned was after i got into college. Philosophy was the best. It made me pretty mu ch say to myself why the fuck did i spend 12 years of my life in school all i had to learn was this shit.

Shit Happens. The problem is why you think it shouldn't happen to you.

Yeah, I was handed this too by my principle of this program for smart kids. One thing that they don't teach you is to question authority.

I think schools should be teaching kids a lot of basic financial skills, like how to balance a checkbook, manage credit card debt, etc. Stuff that's pretty simple at heart, but can fuck you over if you don't know.

My high school did teach it, in a required class Senior year called Economics. It also covered filling out basic tax forms, and basic business stuff (supply & demand graphs, break even point, etc.). It's been a long time since I was in HS, though, so maybe they don't teach it in school anymore. 😐

Really, though, a lot of the financial stuff is common sense. As my brother says, "From the first time I learned about interest (on money), I knew which side of THAT deal I wanted to be on!" 🤣

I also had an economics class Senior year, but it was an elective, when really, it involved things pretty much everyone should know about.

It may be common sense for you and I, but it doesn't occur to everyone if it's never taught to them. America's problem with debt and it housing market crises are proof of that.

I had a pretty good high school, actually. We did a lot of problem solving in math and a lot of current events in social studies, so they kind of made it pertinent. And as for remembering -- I guess I have a pretty good memory, cause it's three years later and I still remember what was on my finals. O.o

This conversation is getting way off topic....This was NOT suppose to be 18+. Why does something perverted always have to come up. 😮

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

i find it hilarious when nerds say that. there is a difference between intelligence and ability and lack of social skills.

nerds in highschool always say that, then they go to community college and become a computer repair man or something low brow like that.

i could go on about the fallacies of that "rule" but im lazy
