Surprises aside, i don't find this too abrupt imo, since its been dragged out so long, just really sad. The 'insert' song fit it all really well surprisingly, for such an old song. too bad not much else was explained. thoughts?

I agree that the story for School Rumble dragged out too long with all the side characters, but I think this ending feels very rushed. I have a bad feeling that the ending will not answer the question of Harima x Eri/Yakumo. 🙁

Even IF popularity has declined, this kind of lead to an ending is just... unethical...

283 better be a volume's length..

Ah, I think most of us saw this kind of ending coming. Here's hoping the anime will have their own take on the ending. 😀

I guess it's fitting in a way that it's ending like this, but I'm still very disappointed. I agree that chap 283 better be like 1 volume long. Wishful thinking though, probably.

Maybe you're right. Looks like its true that Harima only belonged to himself (chp 6).
