like I have said before, there really is no plot anymore, for some reason, the author just keeps adding more and more geniuses. You all know it's true. I don't know if you guys like it or not, but to me, it's starting to get annoying. If it were not for the momentum of the series, I would have quit a while ago.

Ohba-sensei seems to like geniuses. it´s like in death note. but it´s not good to have many of them in a slice of life manga about two teenagers becoming mangaka because one of them will marry the girl he loves after his manga got an anime

But the thing is, it really makes sense, especially within this context. Any field is going to have people who are extremely talented and that drives the competition and conflicts between different people. I personally think it's an interesting development that can easily be used as another obstacle that needs to be overcome before reaching the end (whatever that may be).

still, it´s boring. it doesn´t reflect real life anymore. the editors are just getting toyed with, the mangaka get all the power. that´s just stupid

Srsly, seems there's a genius in every corner.
As much as I like this manga a part of me is hoping they never get an anime, Miyoshi divorces alcoholic Takagi because he can't support her and their 7 children, 4 of which are not his, Azuki decides to fux it, moves on to marry some rich dude, and Mashiro lives in the studio for the rest of his life as a failed artist.
The end.
There is a part of me that wants this to happen. Then there is another part that wants the complete opposite. I'm not sure how I want it to turn out but for now I do believe its having to many genius atm.

I just hate the new guy that came in.
I think they should focus more on the main characters, including Niizuma, because seriously just how many rivals do they need? It doesn't even seem ike they're going to get anywhere with PCP and the author just keeps adding rivals.
(Like that guy who wrote True Human -i think it was called- he was supposed to be "similar to Ashirogi Muto" and then now there's another guy who is writing how Ashirogi Muto wants to write)
Too many characters introduced with too little character development. 😔
They need to start another series already, and a really good one at that.

Agreed with the 'no plot' notion. I thought he was trying to get his manga into an anime so he can just get married to that chick. But now... I don't even know.

i hope they´ll and the anime like this "mashiro overworks himself and lands in the hospital. but it was already to late and he couldn´t be saved. depressed like she is miho commits suicide. akito will become a really famous author but sadly he starts taking drugs and is put into jail for beating up his wife so much that she gets paraplegic. fukuda leaves "jack" and becomes the best mangaka of the weekly shounen magazine while eiji´s manga went so crazy that it was first moved to a seinen magazine and later get´s cancled. ko gets pregnant from nakai and returns to her shoujo magazine. Kazuya Hiramaru meanwhile stops being a mangaka and becomes the chef editor of "jack".
everything after the word saved is a joke.
if there is a new genius in the next half year, i´ll kill someone. and shiratori is already forgotten

When this manga first came out I didn't read it for fear it would be a manga about drawing manga that failed, so, is it "fail"? x| (I haven't read it)
Also, eastsong25, it takes talent and a huge amount of luck to get anywhere high up in these things, there are Really good manga out there that have very little fans because... Of luck. The opposite is true too, really bad manga can get popular out of luck, or you can get somewhere in the middle... Pretty much as long as you have a decent story (or if you're an actor, decent acting ability, musician, whatever) its alllllllll luck after that.

i dont know i still enjoy enjoy the manga, and about the genius thing i think Naruto was worse then that it seems like in the chunin exams every single one was labeled a genius or prodigy
