I just started high school this year and the first day sucked. All we did was listen to boring speeches (thank god I was late for that!) but I was very embarrassed because I was the only student who randomly walked into the hall and walked down the aisile-it was a slow & dramatic entrance attracting unwanted attention...
I've also got to mention that I couldn't remember anyone's names and no one could remember mine- there were at least 6 people with the same name as me

Simply another normal human being...

Middle school- I was nervous and nearly died of anxiety when I was called out of class because my shorts were just a tad too short. My first middle school was really lame and had dress code checks daily where the whole class stood up and the teachers looked us over. Some of the other girls got away with more because their teachers didn't enforce anything (particularly the male ones). My teacher was nice and I really liked her and my shorts weren't really that short but oh well.

High school- I only went for two months in the middle of the year (long story as to why) so I was nervous and since everyone had already made friends it was a bit hard.

College- I was nervous. I had an anxiety attack. I wanted to leave. I was talking (ranting) to random strangers and muttering to myself. I kept checking to make sure it was the right classroom. This repeats every semester and triples if I happen to be late, which I often am. 🤢

Also OP I wasn't sure if you meant our first day of middle/high school/ college ever or this year or what? But if you meant this year I'm taking online classes and actually have a lot of anxiety simply logging into them 😲

First day of middle school was meeeh.

As for high school... I'm not in high school yet. My school district system is a bit different than others, so I still have another year.

I had no friends left from elementary school because either a.) they went to a different middle school b.) I stopped talking to them.

But thank god, I was sitting next to an old friend so it was all good and I made new friends the first day of school that are now my bestest friends ever. (:

First day of high school...was alright. I didn't like having some classes with no friends. :[
But I usually just make friends with whoever I'm sitting next to. xD So it wasn't so bad.

High school is middle school, everyone's just a bit older.

I'm with a new group now at uni, so this counts too, I guess. For the second time in a half-year. Sucks as always. Everybody knows the newbies and I barely can remember them.

I don't live in the US, so I have no mid school and high school. It's just secondary school. It covers the age of 11 to 16, and 16-18 if you want to stay on and do A-Levels.
So it was 7 years ago when I started my first day of secondary school. Get it?
