Hi everyone,

I was reading this series a long time ago, and it was about 4 people who each controlled one of the 4 sacred beasts. There was an older teacher dude who uses a spear and represents the Azure dragon of the East, a punk who uses claws(?) who represents the white tiger of the west, a little girl who used this turtle shell which represents the black tortoise of the north, and a high school dude (main character) who uses a bow and represents the vermillion bird of south. They went around hunting demons. There was this one arc where there's this kappa monster who follows you home; and if you turn around and look at it before you reach your doorsteps, it'll kill you.

There is also this love interest for the main character, but she already has a boyfriend. As the series goes on, he becomes a lot more suspicious of his girlfriend and the main character. At one point, when this demon became a doppleganger of his girlfriend, he freaked out and told both the original and the fake to stay away.

Does this series ring a bell for anyone? I just want to know the name if possible (read the chinese version).

Update: Nevermind. I searched the forum where I first found this series and figured it out. It's Otogi Matsuri.
