What would you do to manga you dislike?

Say you comes into a title that was interesting at first, but later you found out that one is suck. Just suck beyond repair (taste varies). What would you do toward those kind of manga? Will you diligently put them on unfinished list? Or just ignore it, risking a chance that you will come across them in the future and feel miserable once again?
Because, you know, putting all manga we dislike into unfinished list is quite a pain, quite embarassing sometimes 'you read that kind of junk?' or 'You actually read this gem but abandon it?' But putting them in one list can be useful, shows people that certain kind of manga doesn't suit your taste, announcing 'if you gonna recommend me some manga, please not from this list.'
Please share your opinion.

I normally just drop it... But if the synopsis, tags, and reviews are really good I'll continue reading it for awhile 🤣
Is this me in a nutshell?
Pretty much.

Or just avoid it 😃
I've dropped quite a few series, though I usually try to go at least 10 chapters before doing so.

I don't have a manga I REALLY dislike yet..
But if I had, I would probably make a "I hate" list.
And to never come across it again, I'll remember it's name, but.. No, I'll just forget it. I don't know what I'll do, if I come across it again.

stop reading it.. i will probably put it in on-hold list first.. coz there are times where my mood turns 360' and make me want to read it.. if it's totally irreparable, i would put it in unfinished.. it's kinda hateful to see how many mangas that i've put in unfinished list... 😔

I keep it on the reading/unfinished list on MU, but I keep digital copies of every single manga I have read and I organise them by how much I liked reading the manga.
On my external hard drive, I have three main folders: Favoured, Unsorted, and Other. Favoured is of course the ones I really enjoyed and wouldn't mind rereading a couple of times, within the folder is my Mangaka folder so I can always find the ones by my favourite mangaka among the other stories. The Unsorted folder is stuff I am undecided on, or don't have much of an opinion on. I reread them every once in a while to see if my opinion on it has changed. My Other folder is all the ones I didn't enjoy reading and probably won't reread. And last, but not least, within the Other folder I have a Dislike folder which I put everything that I just could not stand.
I have other subfolders and such, but those are the notable ones...

the ones I'm embarrased I just don't put them on any list, but normally I would just put them in the reading list, because you never know if you would change your mind 🙂

Leave it on the list, unless I really dislike it then I remove it.
If I got pretty far or finished it then I might write a comment.

LOL I know what you mean. I don't like yaoi (I've tried to like it, but it's just not for me) and I keep and keep finding mangas that look very good (at least for the artwork) and then I see the yaoi tag... I get so frustrated! But whatever...
I've found a lot of mangas I dislike. Sometimes I put them on my unfinished list, which I keed private because I've read A LOT of rubbish and I'm embarased about it, haha. But I've been thinking to make it public... Who knows if I'll ever do it. Anyways, I read all the mangas I've really hated a long time ago, when I didn't even know this page existed, and now I somehow know how to identify them 😉 I come across them from time to time, but I immediatly recognize them so it's no big deal.

I just drop them. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I look at my "Dropped" list, and check why did I ever read them in the first place or even ask myself why did I drop them.

Life is too short for manga that you dislike. 😎 I'm rather neat with my lists, so I have an unfinished-list (i.e. dropped) for each genre groups (shoujo/josei, shounen/seinen, yaoi) and I update them pretty often. 'Else it'd be a mess to figure out.
Oh, and I have a blacklist for manga that I, as prejudiced as I am, decide from just the cover and description decide that I will never lay my paws on. When I have nothing more to read, then I can take those into consideration. 😛
Series that I've been reading for a long time but find a bit boring, I'll just leave on my reading list and let be for a while.
