So I've been reading Lost Brain and I've been thinking thats its somewhat similar to Death Note. It seems like the plot is almost the same just with a little twist.

Does anyone else share my opinion 😕

i read the first five chapters.
but augh.
i refused to continue it because i cringed at every single similarity.

smart kid bored in school
discovers powers that would allow him to manipulate people to his will.
kid uses power to reshape society and politics
does so by killing.
he even acquires a useless assistant.
but wait! the stumped police force found a guy
who might know how to catch him!
and can estimate his every move,
because of his keen detective skills!
kid turmoils through a plan to kill such man!
etc.

the only difference was that lost brain uses hypnotism.

i really wanted to shiv this mangaka in the kidney.
did she seriouly think she could succesfully rip off the most famous manga in the world?
