I have a lot more friends now as an adult than I ever did as a child or teenager. There were only a couple of people I would hang out with in high school. I talked to many people, but they weren't particularly close friends. Several were 'fair weather' friends, and I felt like they'd only talk to me if it was OK for them to do so according to popular opinion. (I really don't know how accurate that impression is, but I know it's how I felt.)

Now, I have found friends who share the same mentality I do, which is something I couldn't really find as a teenager. I have lots of people with which to hang out with, play games, go to movies, etc.

I think having a few close friends is normal. For those of you who think you're a loner because of that you are wrong. Some people have no idea of what it truly means to be a loner because they have never experienced it. Anyway, I have a few friends and many acquaintances.

Nop, not sure I would call anybody I know "friend" but well, it's just me being me. I still would hang out with people if I'm invited and I'm not feeling extremely lazy 🤣

I suppose I have a lot of friends. They are mostly there for convenience, like if I am bored and want someone to hang out with, they make me laugh occasionally and listen to my loud incessant talking and every now and then treat me to lunch or hang out at the dog park with me to kill time.

But on the downside, I really don't have any close friends. Just like... one. And I don't think that one really counts since I am dating them.

haha, I've come upon this matter many times. I don't see the point of friends, so why do I have people I get close to? Cause friends just are there for a few years, and something happens, and you probably won't ever see them again.

yeah, but friends help you through hard times. Like I found out recently 🙂 So yeah, I'm a loner who has a decent amount of friends that are there when needed.

Well, at college, I'm pretty much a longer. But when I come home, I spend half my time hanging out with my friends from high school and the other half of the time sleeping.

The answer depends on what your idea of a "friend" is. There's acquaintances and friends.
I have a handful of friends (can count them with my fingers), and a bunch of acquaintances.

No, not really, and I'm OK with that. I have five close friend with whom I'm completely myself to. Frankly with those friends I'm too close, with the male one in particular (beware of the snuggle monster). Besides that I consider anyone else a near friend or aquaintance.

I have a lot of aquaintances, and a group of friends.
But only a few people who are very close to me, and I love them a lot. I feel like I don't deserve to have such good friends (I really don't) so I try my best to be a good friend in return. They make me very happy.

For past two years, I have this group friend actually. Quite a few of them with different races and one most best friend that I "love" so much! Love as a best friend. But, now I just transfer to other country, I hardly get to have "some" friends. So, I usually quite a loner and just speak if I had to. But, I love it. I don't want to be others accompany without same interest. I'm pretty much OK by myself ^_^

I used to have it when I was at school, but now I only have my mom and my older bro Jon as my "very good friends". But I'm trying to find a good RL friends.

I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛
