I got it the day it was released, completed the campaign in 2 days. Should be GOTY, imo.

Did anyone else get it? What's your opinion on it?

My friend got the game a little over 2 weeks before the release date and finished the campaign the night he got it. I have seen it and I was a little disappointed that it didn't quite hold up to how good the first one was IMO. Not bad but not great was our general consensus.

How did he get it?! He has a modded 360?

I paid attention and saw the major improvments, i think it did hold up, and met my expectations biggrin

Yeah he has a modded 360. I noticed some improvements but I guess I was just expecting more.

Got this game about two weeks ago.

It was great, as the gameplay was improved, the plot doesn't bore me, and they got some new additions in it as well.

Overall, a must buy for any Xbox 360 owners out there.

I heard that the story improved since the last game. Is that true?

I guess after playing COD5 and MGS4 so much that I was completely desensitzed to the impact that the new weapons brought to the game... It wasn't a new experience at all, cause it felt like this game is what the first one should've been. It's still all around a good game.

They did get a professional story writer or something, so yea. I personally think that the story was better, except for the corny romance parts.

I hope you mean new weapons introduced to the gaming industry, because the weapons in GeOW2 are a lot more modern than COD5's weapons biggrin.

And you said that the first one shouldve been like this, that shows the amount of improvement that went into it bigrazz

So that means that soldiers today have a chainsaw attached to their rifle. And a Large shield to protect them from nearly anything? bigrazz

This.

Sweet Jesus, this.

I got this for Christmas and I completed it in two days also. What I like the most about it is that it's challenging and it doesn't have that annoying cheating AI . I thought that nothing could beat Fallout 3, but this did. (The only reason why it did IMO is because the crosshairs in Fallout 3 are so shitty and it forces you to use V.A.T.S.)

The only problem I had with this game was the part where you ride those Reavers. WHY THE HELL CAN YOU ONLY DODGE LEFT AND RIGHT?

And it was fucked up with what happened to Tai and Maria.

yeah, Tai was a hard blow, more than Maria, for me.
I rate this game 9/10: awesome as the first and with more plot.
Lets see what the 3rd chapter will bring us.

I hated the fact that Tai died, but for Maria i didnt pay that much attention, since it was the reason that the story rating was so low sad
