Year (2)

Uhm, so this is rather a question to the mods and admins really:
Is it okay from now on to show the 'year' section of a series as a period? Eg. '2006-2010' (meaning it was first published in 2006 and ended in 2010 - kinda similar to wikipedia). I know that this'll basically change the whole database of MU and it'll take time to take care of every (or most) series, but eventually things will all be sorted out in the future for sure, especially if more people are aware it. (and we've only got about more than 110,000 series at MU anyway, the task could be done) 😉
The reason I wanted to propose this is because I feel that it's more accurate to show the whole time period that a manga was 'crafted' rather than just the first year. I've just come across a series whose most chapters were released in 2010, but since there's a one-shot released in 2005 that was added at the end, according to the regulations here at MU the year'll be 2005. That wouldn't really reflect the true properties of the manga imho.

What are you going to go off then? Magazine publication year? Tank year? The latest revised version? The ending year is just gonna get really convoluted.
People already have enough trouble trying to keep the Status in Country of Origin straight and author naming formats correct.
