Looks like the aftermath of the Whitebeard War had a profound effect all over the world (ie-islands under Whitebeard's protection has been under siege by pirates, including one called Brownbeard, the Balance of Power being shifted, The Age of Blackbeard, etc.).
I would have expected WG trying to cover Blackbeard's involvement in the Whitebeard War, but I find interesting that Sengoku is actually objecting with their decision for once (interesting to see what will go from there).
Alas, it looks like Luffy has yet to fully recover and wake up, but aside from that, at least he's safe for the moment with the Heart Pirates and Hancock.
Can't wait for next week's chapter. 😀

Great chapter, I can't wait for what is to come. I hope Luffy can get over Ace's death relatively quickly and vow to avenge him or something.
Only bad thing is that a bunch of level 6 prisoners escaped. It just means that many more super-villains for Luffy to defeat, thus causing the story to go on that much longer. But, oh well, at least we get to enjoy this awesome manga longer and maybe one of those level 6 prisoners will eventually become a new Straw Hat Crew pirate.

Damn, I was hoping he'd introduce his version of Bluebeard (Although he's not really a pirate). Brownbeard sounds like a phrase of what happens to a dude after a sex act goes wrong. 🤣
Anyway, this chapter was pretty good. It seems like nothing can go right for Sengoku. Kinda makes you feel sorry for the dude, cause it seems like his role in One Piece is to just get news about how someone's fucking him or the government over, and then for him to act shocked and/or yell at the top of his lungs.
Glad Oda's getting rid of Gecko Moria though, cause he seems like the weakest and the most uninteresting of all the Shichibukai.

you know.........one of the four emporers is called big mum......is it just me or could that be the one that old woman that kept proposing on thriller bark gave the vivre card for?

There were some hints of that in the Thriller Bark arc when Lola told the Straw Hats that her mom was a very powerful pirate in the New World. It's very possible that she could be Lola's mom, but we won't know for certain until she's officialy introduced into the story...

Hmm. I just reread the whole thing in Oda's interview about this arc (that just ended) being Luffy's last adventure as a 17 year old. I know he likes to trick us, and in the One Piece world I wouldn't be surprised if a year has passed since the beginning of the story. So... I wonder if the crew will reunite on Luffy's 18th birthday?

I suspect luffy will be a sleep for quite a few more chapters. What id like to see is for the rest of the strawhat pirates to meet up again in the coming chapters. Cause i miss them! ;-;.....

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Sengoku and the marines, now that the world government is essentially allowing the world's worst criminals escape. Also, I wonder if Mr. 2 was able to get away from Impel Down, possibly with the aid of the level 6 escapees. I imagine Magellan wouldn't have a problem against Mr. 2 alone, but given that he seems to be in serious condition, someone may have intervened. And I wonder who will replace the apparently ex-Shichbukai like Moria, Blackbeard, Jinbei, and probably Hancock if they ever figure out her involvement in everything.

I assume oda will summarize about luffy's recovery and mainly focus on the crews. Seriously its time for them to reunite. It was a great chapter. As always expected to Oda Sensei...
I did recall the thriller arc... Guess we shall know in the near future...
