I'm not sure if it is a shoujo or a shounen, because you follow the perspective of a boy. Still in middle or high school. I think the boy did not have a good relationship with his mother. One day he comes across a girl, I think at bridge/riverbank, who appears homeless. Rumour has it that she will do any favor for just a few yen. Like 5 yen? He eventually uses his pocket money for buying these favors. Nothing sexual. But hanging out with here is like an escape from home. I remember the cover of the manga having just the girl on it. Like a close up of her, frontal. And blonde/light colored hair.
