What happened with these manga?

So, I've got a couple questions. The first one is;
Does any one knows what happened with Ajin (Ajin: Demi-Human)?
Their was no release for almost a year, and this is weird. Because Crunchyroll usually completes it's stuff. So my question is, is it complete with 40 chapters or is it on hiatus?
Another question I have is what about Kyokou Suiri (In/Spectre), it shows that it's still ongoing, but I noticed it's adapted from a 1 volume long novel. When I checked the forum, I noticed it's completed with volume 6, and their will be a sequel. My question is from what or where the sequel comes from, is it an adaption? And another weird thing volume 7 is released in november 😕

Ajin is up to chapter 50 by Crunchyroll. Releases for Crunchyroll are not added to MangaUpdates if they cannot not be read for free, which is not the case for Ajin. Reading it requires a subscription now.

Thanks for the response. So, it became a manga where you need to pay for on crunchyroll?
I was actually hoping the series was finished. This is one of the series I purchase, but I feel like purchasing some new series. But before I purchase new series, I need to finish some. However most series that I ended up purchasing, become long running stuff.

About In/Spectre, I don't know about the novel, but the manga is still ongoing. According to the postscript of the original novel's author in the 5th manga volume, IIRC, the manga's caught up with the novel so he writes directly for the manga, now. The lastest volume was the 15th one, released in Japan in May 2021, and the 16th is not announced yet.
