The char. max is 512, and this signature is 287 chars (331 if you count spaces).

YET when I try to update, I get an Error page of "Your signature is too long. Please reduce it by 395 character(s)."

so k, wth is going on. >_>;

I'm definitely no expert on this, but it seems that you're not including the bbc codes, these will account for at least another 70 characters. The only thing that seems to make sense would be that where you have hit enter to skip a line, that would make up for the extra characters.

Actually, it DOES account for the BBC codes. ;P I did a wordcount on Word WITH the bbc code tags.

If you say so, but try it without bolding and/or linking anything and see if it works.

Something is throwing off the BBC code, and causing extra commands...

Try sticking with Alphanumerical characters, and slowly input each non-alphanumerical character till you find the problem.

EDIT: Just tried to edit my signature and see if it was the problem... but damn, somehow it ended up working. o_O;
