I really love Irene Cara's voice, its really powerful. also, Dido has a beautiful voice, and the lead singer from The Cranberries, her voice is really cool.

I'm not a Corinne Bailey Rae fan. I have an album of hers, I think, and was not impressed.

Of contemporary female vocalists, Amy Winehouse has the nicest voice, imo, along with Joss Stone. Susan Tedeschi also has a nice voice.
