So, i haven't finished reading this (just picked it up) but i read about half of it.

Now i want to know if i already guessed the ending:

Meg was always a girl, the little fairy can't do anything other that making people believe things, illusions and make people have bad luck.

That would pretty much explain everything and is kind of easy to prove.

Before i keep on reading can anyone tell me if i hit the nail on the head or if i just hit my tumb?
