Heh, I wondered about this like over a week or so ago when I first noticed it. Yeah, I lurked around for a long time before finally registering last night. I just checked for a few bits of release information now and then.

Anyway, I just figured the poll was sort of a light hearted non sequitur kind of thing. The main reason I took notice was because I was half watching/listening to that movie Twister on HBO at the time, so I just saw and voted for Tornado.

Well it is still currently the poll, but certainly not new anymore. After a while I started thinking maybe they just don't update it (the poll) anymore. Might be time for a change. Some semi regular pop-in people might think the site is slow in updating. I knew it was on the ball where it counts, but at a glance it might give that impression to some. Though it would be interesting to see if Snow can make a comeback.

Well there is not set duration that I know of... It just stays there until Manick decides otherwise. (which is heavily influenced by the overall number of votes + total duration + some other parameter, like users nagging for a new poll etc...)

i just wish it would stay till snow wins.
i thinks its no fair to stop now and let rain, of all things, win.
specially since its almost summer!!!
and i cant stand the weather at the moment, it has been rainng for weeks now..

Personaly I like rain. Both the sound as the view 🙂
I like the sun as well ofcourse but when it rains it's as if the whole world calms down and moves at a slower pace.
Being in the rain always gives me a higher level of consciousness; I feel more alive. Sounds a bit freaky but it's true. Listening to the rain tends to calm me down as well.
And what I really like is to get home soaked and then change into some warm clothes. That's totaly awesome 😀

I don't remember what I voted for by the way. I think it was tornado or something ^-^

Yea it is a pain to drive in so what you wish for is that there is enough snow on the ground so that it cancels everything and then there would be no need to drive in it. Also I have fond memories of playing in the snow when I was little.

i would really like to see a new poll about the publicity of lists. my reasons? : because barely enough people have there lists open. sure a lot of the forum peeps do, but all those 9000 others .. ? and sure a poll is a stupid tool like advertisement. having more people use the lists public and open will result in more ratings too probably. why rate your stuff if it aint public, right?

Eh I love snow probably because as Lake said I don't live where it snows every year or at all. 😀

If you don't like shoveling snow then don't If you're obligated to then make your kids(nature's slaves) do it 😀 As for driving. Why Drive Ski to work or just be a lazy bum like I am and don't ever leave home. Going to College do your degree Online 😀 Never leave home again. Take a vacation by staying at home. Enjoying the cold and the beauty of the snow. 😀 😎
