It looks like this Sebastian repeated the Nurarihyon alien when he says "have you felt the presence of God?"
😲 He sounds like knowing alot about those entities from "Akasha Chronicle" - the library of the universe. This guy maybe one of the "high rank" underlings of (good or evil ?) GODs ( those omnipotent beings that exist from the primitive of this universe as in my theory )

For short, after that debatable chapter, this chapter we (readers) are like Kikuchi before those "answer to the truth" of Sebastian. Oku is trying to petrify us with vague philosophy or this is a wise move after the chapter about numerical code.

Yeah, that's how it should be. The suspense is back, the mystery is back, everything became interesting once again for me (after the previous chapter).

So, then (i don't know how i didn't think about it before) the whole thing happening in Gantz is like demons ("aliens") versus angels (those guys who sit in gantz balls) and their apostles (gantz teams)? And it's like a trial for manhood. Maybe that "catastrophe" gantz says about is something like the biblical deluge, where only some chosen ones will be saved.
