[m]Coming back to look for another story, and finding out a piece I've asked for a while back gives me hope I can find this one, lol.

Anyways, I'm looking for a one-shot i can't remember if it's part of an anthology or a random story to tie off a collection, but the story is about the Mythology of the Red and Blue Oni, the red one wants to be friends with the humans, and the blue one comes up with the plan to "attack" the people, while the red one comes to defeat him. Blue escapes and red is happy with his new friends. Blue tries to distance himself from Red because he doesn't want to jeopardize his happiness. Red is extremely sad about isolating his friend/love and they reconcile as red comes with blue to apologize to the townsfolk. The townsfolk take it in stride since they've had the chance to warm up to Red, (and that blue never caused damage to people helped) so they accepted them into the fold either way.
