I like it, I don't like manga's that have sex on every second page, no character development and no relationship development. I find ones that suddenly have people having sex highly offensive. Mei has some serious trust and confidence issues, it will take allot to get her to trust Yamato enough to do it, let alone become comfortable enough in herself to let another person see her body. Because she knows how painful it is to be lonely, she would be terrified of doing something wrong or not being what he wanted, so she will probably hold out for a little while longer. Her fear of it, which was shown that night she and Yamato went for the over night stay is not going to be easy to over come, and they will probably have to take little baby steps in order to get to that point.

I dont mind them not jumping in bed right away, but after a year or longer, it becomes unrealalistic. In normal situations, high school couples have a hard time keeping their hands off each other. The writer doesnt have to show the sex on screen, but sex is part of the natural progression for most relationships especially in high school. Male teenagers tend to have extremely active harmones and end up pressuring the girls into it But in most manga, the guys can go years without every trying anything which is about the most unrealistic thing in the world. One things I have the most about these type of romance co I should is...

1. Way too long, this one got boring long ago
2. Couple show little affection for the each other
3. They keep most of their true feelings and thoughts secret from each other
4. No passion
5. Sex is like a forbidden act that doesn’t even exist in these so called “pure love” stories

Oh yeah,one more thing I hate is at the end of most of these stories, the guy or girls goes off too college or overseas and the. After a long times skip (5+years) the persons shows back up and even though they havn’t Seen each other in all this time, it’s just like it never happened as they embrace on the last page. There are so many endings like this and I wish they would pass a law in Japan banning this type of cliched ending.
