Man, I love Berserk, but I honestly don't see how Miura is going to complete it in his lifetime at this rate.

8 in 2009, 9 in 2010, 7 in 2011, 5 in 2012, 1 in 2013, 4 in 2014, 6 in 2015, 3 in 2016...it's been slower than monthly on average for a long time, and it's only slowing down more and more.

The chapters aren't exactly packed with plot either, they have amazing art, but I can't see him possibly finishing the entire story in less than say 100 chapters. Over the last few years' pace, that's 25 more years minimum, assuming his health holds up...

I laugh everytime, same for HxH. Their series are famous enough to earn them a good amount of money and hire people to help out. Meanwhile there are series out there with similar art effort and they come out on a consistent basis, like Golden Kamuy

I guarantee you, these authors will die before they finish their works. Might as well pass along the torch to someone who will make good use to them.

After returning on June 24, which coincided with the release of the manga's 38th volume guess Muira is out of fuel again.
These last 6 continuous chapters were really good.

Now I only hope that, by "Early 2017", it means Winter not spring. sigh

whatever this is a joke now and the last chapters (since like 20 chapters before they got on the boat) have been terrible
it is so bad now that i am not going to buy anymore of the volumes and it is impossible to reread it becouse you know what is coming

this series almost instadied when guts got his magic armour in the woods and thats like 15 years ago or something

Noone borough it up but Berserk just approached it´s climax in the current volume.
The main conflict still needs to be resolved of course BUT the overall journey appears to reach it´s end very soon. The next decade will now consists of the marsh to the ending battle, you can´t rush that. It´s a shame that he will never have time do another long form work, but Mr. One Piece or Naruto is sitting in the very same boat too.
They only way to complain over the careful planning of the current arc (dat 11/10 art in ep. 347!) comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of how dramatic structure works, or from a lack of interest in the manga´s story.

These days the game is more like, Berserk up HxH sits, HxH up Berserk sits.
So, it's almost like 1 chapter per quarter on average now. What kinda conspiracy is this?! Something is seriously wrong here. 😮

D. Gray Man is out of ("regular") scene for a while now and it was also getting to the good part. 🙁
And it's been ages since I the last Highschool of The Dead (HOTD) came out. 🤢
