Anyway, it depends on he situation, really. I'd probably ask what they want before calling the police, or try to determine if they're really stalking you (like stand on a street corner for 5-6 minutes and see if they stay there aimlessly with you.

If someone was stalking me, I'd deal with it myself.
Either I'd lose her, or get one of my female friends to kick her ass.
Stalking es no bueno, and my privacy is one of the most important things to me.

Anyways, to the subject: It really depends on the vibe the person is sending off. If they give me the impression of just having killed 14 people I'd most probably be running, but seeing as how that is very unlikely I'd first try and make sure that it really is me they are following and then ask if they need help or something.

There was this guy who had been following me once, because he heard me speaking english (I live in Germany) and needed to know some directions. The poor guy had apparently been running around lost for two hours and nobody was able to understand him, because he had this really thick accent from some other country....hope that dude made it to his destination. :-/

I'd first say he should leave me alone.If he doesn't listen, I'll just beat him up.I'm pretty strong for a girl so, he'd better watch out.

I picked 2a. Anyone who does that is either thinking they're really in love and not crazy, in which case the police would scare them into realizing what a stupid thing they're doing, OR they're really crazy and will not stop if I just "try to lose them" in which case I want a restraining order.

Of course, if I didn't think I or my family was in danger and they could be reasoned with, I would try talking to them first.

What a situation. I picked 3b! But it does depend. If it's night and it appears they're all in black, I'd be scared. If they're somewhat in the open and not wearing anything similar to a hockey mask, there's no obvious danger and do the counteraction thing.

I'd definitely go through all my options before reacting. I'm not quick to just run away unless there was an ominous atmosphere.
