My brother was obsessing over Zelda, Ocarina of Time and made up the username "DarkLink89" when he joined GameFAQs.

When I joined a few months later, I couldn't think of anything. He first suggested "sheikneedles" which I thought sounded pretty cool. But being an underage user at the time, I got banned like, 2 weeks later. >_>;

I joined about a year later, and wanted not to tell my brother. So I wanted to make fun of his name, and came up with "Lightlink". But again, I wanted the number. My other brother was for some reason obsessed with the number 2 at the time [FWIW, he's older than me] so two 2's = 22. Therefore [b]Lightlink22[/b] was born.

It only took my brother a few weeks to realize that Lightlink22 was me, when I gained infamy on Board 8. Of course, by then, a lot of people were shortening my name. LL22, LL, and Lightlink were the most common.

After making the Ocarina of Time board my new home, I saw some of the users referring to another user by a nickname. I was all "OH, NEAT" and wanted to come up with one for myself.

After a bit of thinking, I came to [b]DoubleLn2[/b]. The n = and. I got that from a person I had met on RuneScape named "Aerisncloud". ^^

DoubleLn2 = DoubleL[b]and[/b]2 = LL22 = Lightlink22

So ingenious. ;D

Well, after getting banned from GameFAQs a while later, I was searching for a new site to come up. I had remembered making a Gaia Online account under the username "DoubleLn2" a few months ago, and after going on the site out of pure boredom, I got addicted. I spent - no, WASTED the next 3 years of my life on Gaia. -_-;

There was a user on Gaia, kitten, who had gotten around to calling me DubDub. ^_^ She probably got that from Double Bubble, which she turned into Dubble Bubble, which turned into Dubx2. XD So from that, majority of people started calling me Dub, Dubby, etc etc.

Then I rejoined GameFAQs to give greetings to my old pals, and was searching for a username. "Dubby" was too plain, and the Japanese honorifics killed me a bit inside. So I decided on "kinz", which I had gotten from Veronica Lodge [Archie Comics] where she called Archie "Archiekins" and Mr. Lodge "Daddykins". I changed the s to a z cause I liked it better.

Unfortunately, I used the wrong e-mail for "Dubbykinz". -_- So I had to go with "Dubbykins". A sad day indeed.

However, everywhere else online, I started going by Dubbykinz, and here, I decided to make life easier for all of you and just use "Dubby". Aren't I so nice? n.n

Well, that's the story behind my username. XD

My e-mails are mostly all lightlink22@whatever.we because most of them are old. Like my g-mail e-mail I made during my LL22 reign on GameFAQs.

That was actually really interesting, I must admit. And I love that you used something from Ronnie...ah, I fondly remember the days when I was obsessed with those comics. I still have around 150 of them...what a huge waste of money. Oh well, they were worth it at the time.

My nickname comes from a few years ago when I was a HUGE bragart, loudmouth and just a plain freakin annoying kid, then my family moved away for four years and when I came back I wasn't such a annoying little freak and all my old friends were really suprised by this. So they all stared calling me Modestman (MM for short) for some weird reason and it stuck.

Yes, I spent a fuckload of money on Archie Comics also. XD I sold a lot of them a few months ago, actually, for 1.50 the double digest, 75 cents for the single ones. Doesn't make up even 10% of the hundreds of dollars I spent on them. -_-

I was feeling a little brain dead while i was registering and couldn't think of anything creative so i just took the name of the internet cafe i work at and edited it.

I picked this one because basically it's the one I normally use for websites. I sorta based it on someone else's name on another site and tweaked it around. So basically, now it's a bunch of random letters that I can't even pronounce. Yay for non creativity! 😀

my name came from two sources:

1. a friend of mine in high school had a dream during a sleep over involving me and a bunch of other friends where we rescued her from a guy her parents were tying to make her marry. apparently we all still went to the reception (hijinks ensued). Someone was bright enough to let me, a pyro, near the kitchens and I made pancakes, my favorite food. Only they were served on fire. It didn't help that I did actually sorta kinda burn the pancakes the next morning sweat drop

2. this name was the third or fourth hit I got on an random name generator I used shortly after that incident.

since I have yet to encounter anyone else with this name, I use it for pretty much everything.

I am a complete Tolkien geek so many of my usernames come from elvish. Falmari are one of the groups of the Teleri elves that seperated from the others and lived by the ocean. Their name relates to the sea and foam.

I chose it for the the water meaning because my first middle and last name all have meanings related somehow to water and because I love elves.

I like to use the same username for every account I make. I used to use another name, but I really didn't like it, so I switched to pearlized. I don't remember how I found it, but it is a real word, despite what my English teacher says, and it sounds nice so I use that. yeah, so.. pretty boring story. xD
