Is the Anime different from the Manga?

just a quick question cause when i watched episode 1 of the anime it was not the same as the manga. Actually was entirely different.
Also is the anime better then the manga like in fight scenes or so? Dont want to bother watching both anime and manga.

The anime is better in a sense because the jokes are spelled out for you. I mean, when you read mangas... you read and try to comprehend, but if you watch the anime, the voice actors do such a great job on their characters that just by hearing the characters' voices, you'll laugh out loud. Continue watching the anime, it's an amazing series.

well i usually get all the jokes in the manga and its hilarious 😀
but is the manga and anime different from each other or not?
and like how many chapter is the manga ahead of the anime atm

Well actually the anime is catching up to the manga, there's only about a 10-chapter difference. There are talks of the anime ending (we'll know the truth on March 25) but there's really no difference. The anime is even funnier, I think. If you worry about the fillers... well, they're just as good so you don't have to worry about that.

i watched some episodes of the animes now and read up to chapter 50 and i think the story are the same but out of order. iam i right or is that just concident?
and what do u mean with we will know on march 25? does the anime ends there.

Yup in the anime the chapters aren't in order, but who cares, right?
Hmmm well they're going to air the last epi of Gintama on March 25, we'll know whether or not Gintama the anime will end then.
