Been wondering for a while now as all the NTR I've read/watched ends badly for the guy who loses the girl. Usually the guy just watches with a dumbfounded look on his face and does nothing.

So what I'm asking is, is there any NTR out there that have the guy getting himself/his life back together and moving on? in a positive direction?

Manga or anime? Doesn't necessarily matter.

And just in case, no YAOI except for work done by Inumaru, Inaba cozy and Morata Shigetaka.

Thanks
edit: forgot to mention, the only thing that comes to mind is When You Let go of my Hand by Takenoko Seijin which I have already read.

Onani Master Kurosawa

He doesn't get the first girl, though he never really confessed his feelings. Before the end he gets back on his feet and gets a new girl(very end). PS its strangely enough about masterbation.

Oh and I don't even no what NTR is so I hope my suggestion helps.

Very tough one there. It's because I wanted to find such things that I wrote up my thread on "a good counter to netorare". Only one other than When you Let Go My Hand that I can think of is "Okosama", a one-shot by Chunrouzan in his yet-untranslated anthology Hime Hajime. Trust me. It's not brilliant, and it's a little short, and somewhat loli, but in the end the boy does get the girl.
Even though there's not many of these, I wonder if we should really call them NTR. I despise NTR, but I love stories where the guy manages to take her back. The ultimate feel at the end is entirely different, and it's hardly uncommon for someone to just pass a story by because it's NTR. That said, what would it be called? Maybe tori-modoshi (taking back)?

NTR is netorare, a setup in which a person's spouse, lover, or even mere love interest, is taken from them. Usually, this is used to refer to setups in which a man's love is raped or seduced, and either he sees it all while somehow prevented from interfering, or he is given footage and detailed accounts after it's been done. There's only a few to my knowledge, like When You Let Go My Hand, where the story goes on and actually builds on the obvious conflict here, and finally lets the guy grow a pair and take his love back.
