I dont read the novel version of the mangas, but I notice that the novel´s are always top ranked VS it´s manga version.......

example:

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu
manga 8.0
Novel 9.0

any ideas why?

a crazy idea but
maybe the novels are better 😕

most of the time the manga starts around the time the anime is about to begin
in other words
the novels been out for 5-15 years allready
so there is so much MORE in the novels

Also, novels tend to flesh out the story and characters better than a manga or anime.
In novels the characters' emotions and thought are brought across more succesfully to the reader. Things which are hard to do in anime or manga.
Another thing, alot of the times manga adaptations drop certain smaller character traits and/or enhance the more dominant ones.

Because they are better than the manga. And Baka to test is a light novel, not a visual novel.
Since the original work is the light novel, there are things that are lost in the adaptions (manga or anime), it's just like the movies adapted from books.

Pretty much what everybody else said.
Novels can describe things like the setting, characters and plot better than a manga. Also, Baka to Test is an award winning light novel series (I haven't read it, but I definitely will,) and the manga's only purpose is to put that story in manga form. It doesn't thrive to be better in any way than the novel.
If you take the time to read a light novel and then compare it to the manga, you'll see what we mean.
It does annoy me that more people end up reading the manga adaptation without even trying to read the original novel. But you really should give light novels a try. I mean, they're fairly easy to follow (they're not like books you'd read in a literature class or anything like that.)
