so if memory serves me correctly there's a demon that refuses to eat human souls but like he's weak because of it and there's another demon that is trying to persuade him to eat. then the story jumps to this other story about a blind boy who is used by his father as a prized to mercenaries. but there's some kind of love between him and his guard so his guard hides his identity so that he can compete for the prize.
