I pick 'C' if I don't know it.

B's the new C. Don't want to get shafted by true false questions either.

in true of false i tend to stray from the obvious answer if i didnt no it...thats just me i dont no bout u ppl

I use logic when i have the knowledge to back it up; but if knowledge is not available, then i make decisions like my president, straight from the gut.

When in a tough situation, I bribe my teacher... with a promise that I won't kill his wife and kids.
Other than that I use process elimination.

I would do the thing they do on manga and such the numbers written on pencil then roll pencil 😛 but really I just use process of elimination

I will inevitably have some sort of gut reaction to an answer. That choice is the one I select.

Process of elimination, definitely. Even if it's a question I don't know much/anything about, I can often eliminate at least 2 of the answers, resulting in a 50% chance of getting it right rather than a 25% chance of getting it right.

I recorded grades for a college course once, can't remember what it was but all the tests were multiple choice w/four choices. There were people who regularly got less than 25% right - worse than you'd expect from random chance. 😔

Process of elimination - educated guess. It works best... but when I really have no idea, I choose B.

Yeah. This is my last resort after process of elimination and trying to use willpower to recall what I should do (for math/physics type questions where you solve problems) or what the answer is (pure memorization). They tend to be right so I try not to second guess it, but I find that hard to do.

I'm not sure, but I think when I took the Advanced Placement exams (in the U.S.), they had a scoring system so that the guessing approach would potentially do more harm than good since you got negative points (-1/4 points if I remember right) for a wrong answer, no points for no answer, and positive points (+1) for a correct answer. So teachers always told us AP students, if you have no clue, skip the problem completely.

No matter what I choose, I always end up with the wrong answer.
So it's more of a combination of the copy, elimination or random choice. Or picking an answer that hasn't been used in a long time.

I use the process of elimination, then make an educated guess. If I simply don't know which answer is better, I make a guess depending on which letter (A,B,C, or D), hasn't been picked in awhile.
