I, too, am a fanatic. I love the books and on edge to get my hands on the 4th book. I don' t know how I feel about reading the 4th book though. I think I'm actually going to cry because it's going to be the end. Kind of like how I felt like crying when I got the 7th Harry Potter book.

I'm actually looking forward to the movie because I want to see how much of it had changed from the book to the movie like pearlized said.

I don't mind Pattinson being given the role of Edward. I found him attractive as Cedric in the HP movie, and he looks pretty hot in the trailers and sneak peaks. Kristen as Bella, on the other hand, ticks me off. I don't see her as Bella whatsoever. Plus her acting is a bit off.

I've been watching the trailers and sneak peaks. It's kills me because I see parts that are changed for the worse from the book to the movie. Like the part where..(begins rant)

they're in Edward's room + the lines = ruined that scene for me completely >:-( And that was suppose to be one of my "OMG SO CUTE" moments in the movie. Oh, and they go out the window. W.T.F?!

Oh and the graduation gowns being the ironic part of being a vampire. I wanna see a HUGE FRICKIN' WOODEN CROSS on the wall. :( x 2

I only just started reading the first one, because I *know *my friend will drag me to watch it with her when it comes out. I've seen the trailers and everything, and I don't like the look of the girl that plays Bella, I imagined something else in my mind.

I read twilight when it first came out....and i recommend it to my friends, but they didn't believe it was good until it became popular [a year later >.<] anyway i wish they cast the characters differently...i really hate the actors they chose. i think the movie will definitely suck <.< I'm not a fangirl btw, just an honest fan ^^

I felt the books were lacking in good character development, and storyline...
I couldn't even remember the plot for the third book... like nothing happens in that book...

I did like the concept though and the characters themselves are quite nice and its an extremely easy read... though being an easy read was not exactly pleasant at times...

I looked at the casting and I agree that the actor/actresses for Edward and Bella are not great... though I could see it work... I was expecting Edward to 'sparkle' with charisma more... and Bella to be more rough around the edges rather than 'shiny smooth, fragile, and doll-like' (if you know what I mean) also I thought Edward's hair should be slightly blonder and Bella's to be slightly redder... just IMHO though

I think the casting for Carlise was okay and Jacob was pretty good...
But after looking at Gaspard Ulliel... D= what a cutie
I think he makes a better Jacob than an Edward ^^'

edit: still need to read midnight sun.. I'm sure that would make the series better for me... Edward's pov was really lacking in the first book

twilight the book gained so much popularity and endearment from teenagers mainly because it is your typical, vampyric, forbidden-love story that every girl dreams about, especially when the male protagonist, the 90-year-old vampire, falls in love with a supposedly "average" 18-year-old girl (btw, ew, pedophile -.-)

the movie makes the story looks like an average forbidden-love chick-flick....though i do approve of the casting choice (british guy is hot)
