I've seen Harry Potter 5 twice and Transformers once, but I intend to see them both again ^o^

I was laughing through the majority of HP 5 cuz of all the gay subtext 🤣 Anybody else notice that?
Even though so much stuff was left out/changed around from the book, I think they did a pretty good job and I loved it! But if you haven't read the book you'll probably enjoy a bit more than I did ^_^;;

Transformers was awesome! Really, really awesome. And that's all I'm gonna say about it 😀

I really want to see Now I Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, but none of my friends have the money to go see it with me 😢

Anyone else notice how much the price of movie tickets are going up? 😕 You'd think they'd be going down what with all the bootleggers and stuff >.>...

And about Spiderman 3, I didn't see it myself, but I've been told that it really sucked 😀

Considering the quality of movies these days, it really isn't worth it to pay to go any more. I would have payed $2 to watch the Godfather in the theaters before, but now I have to pay $12 to see a cheap transformers rip-off. So sad the state of things. On top of that, I pay to get in and then am forced to watch a commercial about a guy stealing a purse and a car and then told that if I get Bootleg movie, I am the same as that person. I hate that the most. I would bootleg the movie just so that I don;t have to watch that.

I mostly only see movies I must see, like Transformers and HP 5, which were no question for me 😀

And I always have fun going with friends and hanging out in the shopping center by the theaters 😀

Yeah, I really have to think of a better way to have a date night with my gf. Cuz after dating for a while, we nevevr go out and do things for fun, so we go out to see a movie. But after, we both realize that we payed too much, and 9 outta 10 the moovie wasn't very good. I guess that we are paying for "atmosphere" more than anything else.

Damn that's gotta suck, it's 6.00$ even here for student tickets, and the minimum wage here is 7.50 a hour.

you are lucky. it raised from 6 to 7.50 for students within a year. where i am at now though there is a dollar theatre kinda. like they show movies that aren't in the theatre anymore but aren't out on dvd either. that gap inbetween. i payed 2 bucks a while back when i went with a group of friends. was freakin awesome haha. they even have special nights when it is only 50 cents or 75 cents etc. just depends on if u wanna wait that long.

friends can be a curse sometimes i say. i do it too but its like there is always someone in the group saying we should all go see this etc. every month..multiple times a month and then bam next thing you know you have dropped a chunk of money and have nothing to show for it. hasn't been as bad lately but....everyone will be in town now with fall semester starting...sigh

Where I live, I think it's about...6.50 for student and 7 bucks for matinee 😲 Not sure though ^_^;; (even though I've gone a million times 🤣 )

There's a theater like that in my town too! It's an old landmark or something that closed then reopened a couple of years ago. I don't know how much it is, but I'd like to go there one day ^^ I think it doesn't cost as much to get in as other theaters in my town, but not as low as yours. Once I heard 5 bucks, but I might be totally wrong ^^;;

It's six bucks for students and 6.50 for matinee here. And that's the best deal that you're gonna get. I don't go to the movies often for that reason.

But then, minimum wage here in CT is about 7 dollars/hour, and a movie is longer than an hour, so I guess that we can't complain that much if we don't get popcorn, which is also wicked expensive.

i'd love a 6 dollar ticket. and popcorn...lmao man 3 bucks for a candy bar that is 3 for a buck at a dollar store.....nuff said there 🙁

Did anyone see the Zombie movie "Fido"? It was only in theaters for like 1 wk. I wanted to see it and by the time I had a chance it wasn't playing any more. I was totally sad.

Ultimatum was really good, the fight scenes are awesome. Although I have to wonder who would win in a fight the New James Bond or Jason Bourne. Omoshiroii desu ne.
