Damn. I really liked a lot of their releases. It seems there is never any good news in the scanlation community anymore.

Japanzais releases have always been great. Sad to see them go, but that's life.

This is really sad. I enjoyed many titles they were scanlating and quality of their releases was also consistently high. If not for them I probably wouldn't have found Hare-Kon which is one of my favourite ongoing series. And that's not even mentioning a whole lot of interesting stuff they scanlated in the past.
I will miss them a lot.

I still remember their full-page watermarks. Most autistic thing I ever saw, and they accomplished nothing. 🙁
Sad times... Several of their series are on my reading list too 😔

Good news is a couple groups have taken up some of their projects,
LetItGo-Scans has taken up Hare-kon, Youkai Shoujo, and a couple others (saikin kono sekai?). At least a couple Japanzai members are sticking with the projects and WE are filling in what's needed.
Yes, I run LetItGo-Scans.blogspot.ca. Where we don't just let things go.

Haven't heard of them until now.
Just checked, and WHOA! They've had a LOT of releases! 😮
With that many releases, I have to wonder how many people were working with them.
I also have to wonder how many of them are sticking with scanlation and joining other groups.
Seems like the end of an era, but also one that I completely know nothing about.
Definitely interesting how something like this can happen to such a (seemingly) large group.
