The true objective behind Naruto story

Lolz. I'm not gonna entertain the thought that this idea is in any way valid, but Walro does bring up a good point.
If this story was written with Naruto or Sasuke's gender being reversed, would anyone question the romantic implications.

Everytime Naruto played with his friends (Chouji, Shikamaru,...), he always got left behind on the playground with no one to pick him up, while he saw all the others being picked up by their parents. Then he just wanders off around in his lonesome and finds Sasuke who is lonely too. In that, they could find companionship.
Deep down, Sasuke just wants to stop being stubborn and return to Konoha. But because of his unbearably huge pride he'd rather kill himself than do that. 🤣
Ok I get that I really do. I thought of that too, that Naruto isn't gay and just sees Sasuke as a brother, who never had. I understand that well but....still you don't go after your brother in the way Naruto does. It's unhealthy and it leads me to question Naruto's "true" intentions/feelings for Sasuke.

But if you seriously think this is true, then your doing nothing more then wishful thinking.
Therefore, either you're subconsciously into gay stuff, or you just really really really really want to be right.

Put another way: the largest emotional response shown in the manga to date was when Naruto thought Pain had killed HInata. Nothing that happened with any male in the series, especially Sasuke, elicited such a response. In terms of Gay-O-Meter, that rates pretty darn low.
Sasuke gets a fight and some tears. Hinata gets 8 tails...

I seriously agree. Hinata's "death" really upset Naruto alot more than anything that had ever happened before. He didn't even seem upset that Kakashi was dead. Besides, wasn't he in love with Sakura since forever....?

Forgot about the eight tails thing. That was pretty extreme and unexpected, since next to Shino and Ten Ten (scratch that she's a part the most awesome team ever) Hinata was the most ignored of the Konoha 12.
Also, Naruto's "love" for Sakura was much more like Sakura's "love" for Sasuke in the beginning. It was more blind admiration than actual love through understanding.

If the gender were reversed, and it was a love story, they'd say something resembling longing. In other words, there's little that would stop someone from simply writing it that way.
Not only do I think thats stupid, I think its stupid his close to him at all. They barely interacted before joining, and this smells of retcon. Naruto was literally closer to any other male character, than sasuke.
Whether you enjoy someone's company isn't always related to similar circumstances when every freaking person you know is in the same career anyway. Heck, their cases aren't even all that similar. It's the huge difference between batman's parents being gunned down or killed in a car accident. he might have still grown up lonely but its a pretty drastic difference.

Well if we get technical....that can't be cus its a shonen and things like those don't happen in shonen.....
About the kiss in the beginning....kishimoto did it for kicks, cus it was so random...nothing romantic...
I will say that Naruto has a little more homo-erotism than most shonen maybe....but that's as far as i'll go....
And yes, Naruto is a tad bit obsessive over Sasuke, but well he is his greatest rival...and if i go along that train of thought...
then in a way Sasuke/Naruto is a lot like Turk and JD from Scrubs....
(Except that Turk and JD never tried to kill each other)...
So some homo-erotic moments? Maybe...
A bit obsessive? Probably

As for the 'emotional' response...where was Naruto after defeating Pein and bringing back everyone from the dead? Mopping for Sasuke, that's what. And recently he just got his masochistic ass kicked to 'save' Sasuke by not giving any information.
Hell, Sasuke was 'upset' when he heard about Pein destroying Konoha and asked about Naruto...
