Technology help?

I need some help with my cellphone 😔
So for Christmas, I got a bigger microSD card for my phone (4 GB) and I was seeing if the screen was actually big enough for me to see subs. When I first converted some of my videos to 3GP, I couldn't see the subtitles at all, but then I tried converting the files to MG4/MPEG-4 and I actually could see the subtitles, but the video was really choppy and eventually the video couldn't keep up with the audio.
So my question is basically this: Is there a different format I could try so I can see the subs or should I just give up?
Thanks 🙂
(Oh and if it helps, my phone is a Verizon LG VX9400...the phone that Iron Man has)

The phone's internal circuitry isn't processing the video and audio files fast enough. I would think since it's the new LG, it would but I guess it doesn't work that well......
you can compromise the video quality and the sound quality for speed. Maybe that will help. There's a ton of programs that can do that on sites like download.com
Iron man had an LG phone?
Doesn't he know LG has a bad reputation when it comes to cell phones? 😁
