Ryohgo Narita Works on Final 1935 Baccano! Novel

Author Ryohgo Narita revealed on Twitter on Wednesday that he is working on the final "1935" volume of his Baccano! novel series.
Narita apologized to fans who expected the series to end in the latest volume, Baccano! 1935-D Luckstreet Boys, which shipped on Wednesday. "If I just brought Firo and Melvi's story to a close, it would have ended with this volume," he said. "But this is the result of me selfishly wanting to include as many of the characters as possible, since it's the end."
Narita began the ongoing Baccano! light novel series with illustrations by Katsumi Enami in 2003. Yen Press is releasing the series in North America. The series inspired an anime adaptation in 2007.
