The Comic Artist and His Assistants to End
The June issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan anthology annnounced that manga creator Hiroyuki (Doujin Work) will end his Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to (The Comic Artist and His Assistants) manga in the next issue on June 12. The four-panel slice-of-life comic began in 2008 and told the story of professional manga artist Yūki Aito and his professional/personal relationship with his assistants.
The manga also ran in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine. Square Enix will ship the sixth compiled book volume next month.

I just started reading this manga 2 months ago.
It took me 2 days to catch up with the series. But it still kind of grew on me.
I guess the only reason to be sad is the idea that the mangaka does not end up with a romantic ending. At least let him propose to each of the girls and let them say "yes" and every reader would be happy. 🤣
