I read off Wikipedia the errors that were made and I found out that I have the volumes with errors in it. So is anyone able to confirm that they changed volumes 3 and 4 "The Southern Master" to the correct name "The Thousand Master"? I also read on Wikipedia that volume 1 and 5 had some mistranslated names and names not going in the correct japanese format. Does anyone know if changes were made to those also? Cause if so I have to buy those 4 volumes again.

The earlier volumes also contain instances where characters call each other by the wrong name and dialogue that has a completely different intention (some nitpicky, and others waay off base) than the original lines.

This is as compared to several scanlations and a different official english translation to Del Rey's.

I don't know if it's been fixed up or not though.

For Negima hardcopies, I now buy the Chuang-Yi english translation. They don't have honorifics and a couple of the more sexual references (Setsuna grabbing Negi's privates in Kyoto, and "paipan" in vol 7) are omitted, but I still find them a much better (and more accurate) read than Del Rey's, personally.

ok yet does anyone know if those errors were corrected and new volumes were sent out like with volume 3 and volume 4, where Negi's fathers name was Southern Master instead of Thousand Master so they re-released the volume with the correct name in it, plus I had the screwed up version of vol 3 & 4 so I just spent more money for the correct versions plus it wasn't fun pulling off the plastic wrap at Chapters to make sure it was the fixed version. Ya so if anyone knows if vol 1 and 5 had their issues fixed that would be great, also I have only read up to vol 5, might of have been 6 but how have the translations been after those volumes?
